About JanSevaPlus
Bridging citizens and government benefits since 2024
What is JanSevaPlus?
JanSevaPlus.in is a free, independent information platform dedicated to helping every Indian citizen discover the government welfare schemes they are entitled to. We aggregate 3,700+ central and state government schemes in one searchable, filterable database — covering agriculture, health, education, housing, employment, social welfare, financial assistance, and more.
India has one of the world's most extensive social welfare systems, yet a significant portion of eligible citizens never access the benefits they are entitled to — primarily because they are unaware these schemes exist or find the application process too complex to navigate. JanSevaPlus was built to solve both problems: discovery and clarity. Our platform makes it possible for any citizen — regardless of education level, language, or technical ability — to find, understand, and apply for government schemes from a single place, without visiting any government office.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: no eligible Indian citizen should miss a government benefit simply because they didn't know it existed.
India disburses lakhs of crores of rupees every year through thousands of welfare schemes for farmers, women, students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, SC/ST communities, and economically weaker sections. Yet surveys consistently show that awareness of these schemes is below 30% even among the intended beneficiaries. Families eligible for free housing under PM Awas Yojana continue to live in kutcha houses. Students who qualify for full-fee scholarships under NSP drop out due to financial pressure. Farmers entitled to ₹6,000 a year under PM-KISAN go unregistered for years.
This information gap is not just an inconvenience — it is a barrier to human development. JanSevaPlus exists to close this gap. By providing a centralized, freely accessible, and continuously updated database of government schemes, we empower citizens to claim what is rightfully theirs. We complement this with a free eligibility checker, plain-language scheme summaries, in-depth guides and blog articles, and direct links to official application portals — making the journey from discovery to application as frictionless as possible.

Enrich
Our editorial team reviews scheme data for accuracy, adds plain-language explanations, and links to the official application portal or nearest service centre.
Publish & Update
Schemes are published on JanSevaPlus with SEO-optimized pages, and our monitoring system flags changes in official scheme details so we can update promptly.
