The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) is a central government initiative run by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Launched on 19th April 2021, this scheme provides financial support to startups to help them develop their business ideas into working products and take them to market. The scheme aims to assist startups in covering costs for proof of concept, prototype development, product testing, market entry, and commercialization.
