Block Level Institute for Rural Skill Acquisition (BIRSA)

BIRSA is a skill training program run by the Jharkhand government to help young people gain practical job skills for free. The scheme provides non-residential training courses at the block level, bringing skill education closer to rural communities. It operates across 24 districts and 80 blocks in Jharkhand, focusing on employment-linked skill development for youth.
