“Exposure Tour for the Coir Artisans” Component of the "Development of Coir" Scheme

This scheme is run by the Department of Industries and Commerce in Puducherry to help coir artisans learn new skills and modern techniques. Artisans are taken on exposure tours to visit leading coir production units in other states across India. The goal is to help artisans understand the latest methods, equipment, and business ideas used in the coir industry so they can improve their own work and businesses.
