Production of Foundation Seeds

This scheme supports farmers in Tamil Nadu who want to grow foundation seeds for pulses like chickpea, pigeon pea, and lentils. It is run by the Tamil Nadu government's agriculture department to increase quality seed production. The scheme provides subsidies to help farmers establish and maintain seed farms, with special support for SC/ST farmers and women farmers.
