Our Tree Our Wealth Scheme

Our Tree Our Wealth Scheme is a tree plantation program run by the Uttarakhand government to encourage citizens to plant trees on their private land. The scheme provides financial incentives to support afforestation efforts. Landowners who successfully grow and maintain trees receive payment after three years based on how many trees survive. This helps increase green cover while giving farmers and landowners an additional income source.
