Gharaunda-Group Home for Adults Scheme

Gharaunda is a central government scheme run by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. It establishes Group Homes and care centers for adult persons with disabilities who are registered under the National Trust Act. The scheme provides safe, long-term residential care with quality living standards and basic medical services for adults with disabilities who have no family support.
