Incentive for the SC Widow Re-Marriage

This scheme, administered by the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Karnataka, provides financial incentives to widows belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) communities who remarry. The scheme aims to encourage and support the social and economic rehabilitation of SC widows through remarriage. A one-time incentive amount of ₹3 Lakh is provided to eligible beneficiaries.
