Battery Operated Wheelchair by Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Department

This scheme is run by the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Government of Tamil Nadu. It provides battery-operated wheelchairs to people with muscular dystrophy and tetraplegia (paralysis of all four limbs). The scheme aims to improve mobility and independence for these beneficiaries.
